Glaze and Associates was incorporated in the state of Texas on May 10, 1985. Founder Bert Glaze ran the company primarily by himself at first, bringing his experience from years at TRW Modernfold to a broader field -- that of construction specialties, CSI Section 10. The company did slightly more than $250,000 in gross sales in it's first year of operation, specializing in markerboards and projection screens. By the end of the 1980's, Bert had been joined by his eldest son, Charles. Together, they broadened the company's product line and increased its local visibility. Charles' younger brother John joined the company in 1995, and shortly thereafter, Glaze and Associates had it's best year ever -- doing just shy of $2 million in sales in 1997. Since that time, we have continued our pursuit of excellence in both the materials we provide and our customer service. Recent changes in management have not hampered our growth. Charles Glaze is currently the President and in charge of operations; Bert retired at the end of 1997, and John left to pursue other horizons shortly before the end of the same year. Today, Glaze and Associates has grown far beyond the business that Bert Glaze began in his Stafford, Texas home many years ago. From our offices in northwest Houston, we have worked with local general contractors on some of the area's highest profile projects -- Enron Field, the city hall annex at 611 Walker, Hermann Hospital's New Pavilion, and the Bayou Lofts project downtown, just to name a few. Our DryErase Magnetic Wallpaper® is installed in at least five foreign countries and major cities all over the United States. As a nationally recognized and internationally oriented company, Glaze and Associates is ready to lead the construction specialty market in Houston into the 21st Century. |
